Hydrogen Peroxide

Hydrogen Peroxide is linked to grey hair and weak bones

Hydrogen peroxide, the compound that causes our hair to go grey, has been linked to weak bones. This was discovered recently; however this was portrayed in the Quran 1,400 years before it's discovery.

"My Lord, my bones have become feeble, and my hair is aflame with gray, and never, Lord, have I been disappointed in my prayer to you." (Quran 19:4)

Iron

Iron has a cosmic origin

Iron is one of the most important elements on Earth, yet modern science has shown that the iron found on Earth was formed through processes in stars before our planet existed. This is remarkable because the Quran describes iron as something that was “sent down” more than 1,400 years ago.

"And We sent down iron, in which there is great strength and benefits for humanity." (Quran 57:25)

Superionic Water

Superionic water is black and viscous

Superionic water appears when it's reaches high temperatures and pressures. It is much darker and thicker than regular water. This was just discovered recently, but it was mentioned in the Quran 1,400 years ago. The Quran describes water in hell as resembling tar because of the intense heat.

"The truth is from your Lord. Whoever wills let him believe. And whoever wills let him disbelieve". We have prepared for the unjust a Fire, whose curtains will hem them in. And when they cry for relief, they will be relieved with water like tar, which scalds the faces. What a miserable drink, and what a terrible place." (Quran 18:29)

Viscosity

The rivers of Paradise are described in increasing viscosity

The Quran describes the rivers of Paradise in the order water, milk, wine and honey. Modern measurements show that these liquids generally increase in viscosity in the same order, with water being the least viscous and honey by far the most viscous.

"In it are rivers of water unaltered, rivers of milk the taste of which never changes, rivers of wine delicious to those who drink, and rivers of purified honey." (Quran 47:15)
