Allah has given us His beautiful Names so that we may know Him and draw closer to Him. They are not merely names to memorise, but invitations to discover who our Lord is and to let that knowledge transform our hearts and our lives.

A

Al Adl - The Just One

He is perfectly just. Leave what is beyond your understanding in the hands of the One who sees everything perfectly.

Al Afuw - The Pardoner

He does not only forgive - He erases. So never let your past convince you that you are beyond His mercy. Return to Him, again and again.

Al Ahad - The One

There is none comparable to Him. Do not seek in creation what can only be found in the Creator.

Al Awal - The First

He is the One before whom there was nothing. When you do not know where your path begins, trust the One who was there before every path.

Al Akhir - The Final

Everything will pass away, but He remains. Do not attach your heart to what will end. Attach it to the One who never ends.

Al Alim - The All Knowing

Before you speak, He knows. There are things you will never be able to explain to another person. But Allah knows every detail, even the things you keep hidden.

Al Aliyy - The Most High

He is above all things, greater than anything your heart could ever fear or desire. Do not allow the things of this world to make you forget how great your Lord is.

Al Azeem - The Magnificent One

His greatness has no limit. Let your heart be humbled by His greatness and comforted by His power.

Al Aziz - The All Mighty One

He is the One whose might cannot be overcome. You do not need to fear what stands against you when you place your trust in Him.

Al Bari - The Originator

The One who created you knows you better than you know yourself. Let this bring comfort to your heart, knowing that every part of your journey is known to Him.

Al Badi - The Incomparable Originator

Look around you and reflect on the countless signs of His creation. Let the beauty and precision of what He has originated awaken gratitude in your heart and draw you closer to Him.

Al Basit - The Expander

He expands His mercy, provision and blessings as He wills. Never assume that what you have now is all that Allah can give you. His generosity has no limits.

Al Baseer - The All-Seeing

He sees you completely. He sees the battle within your heart, the effort behind your deeds and the moments no one else knows about. Nothing is lost with Him.

Al Batin - The Hidden

He is hidden from our sight, yet nothing is hidden from Him. When you cannot see what lies ahead, trust the One who knows what is beyond your sight.

Al Baqi - The Everlasting

Everything around you will pass, but Allah remains. Do not attach your heart too deeply to what is temporary; turn it towards the One who never fades or disappears.

Al Barr - The Source of Goodness

He is endlessly good and gentle towards His creation. Count the blessings you can see, and remember the countless blessings you cannot. His goodness surrounds you in ways you may never realise.

Al Ba'ith - The Resurrector

He is the One who will resurrect every soul. Nothing we do will be forgotten, and every deed will be brought forward. Let the certainty of that meeting inspire you to live with purpose.

D

Ad Dhaar - The Distresser

He alone has power over harm and benefit. What reaches you cannot miss you, and what misses you could never have reached you. Place your trust in Him.

Dhul Jalali Wal Iqraam - Lord of Glory and Honour

He is the Possessor of all majesty and all honour. Glorify Him with your tongue, revere Him with your heart, and hope in His generosity.

G

Al Ghaffar - The Constant Forgiver

He does not grow weary of forgiving those who return to Him. So even when you fall, rise and turn back to Him.

Al Ghafoor - The Great Forgiver

His forgiveness is greater than your sins. Whatever you have done, never believe that you are beyond the reach of His mercy.

Al Ghani - The Self Sufficient

He needs no one, while every created thing needs Him. Free your heart from dependence upon creation and place your deepest reliance upon Him.

J

Al Jabbar - The Restorer

He is the Compeller who brings creation into submission to His will, and the Restorer who can mend what has been broken. When you feel like pieces of your life are falling apart, remember the One who can put them back together.

Al Jaleel - The Majestic

He is majestic beyond every measure and beyond what the heart can comprehend. The more you know His greatness, the smaller the things you fear become.

Al Jami - The Gatherer

He gathers hearts, people, and creation according to His wisdom. Trust the One who can bring together what you thought could never meet again.

Al Jawad - The Most Generous

He gives generously without His treasures ever diminishing. Ask Him without thinking your request is too great, for His generosity has no limit.

Al Jameel - The Beautiful

He is Beautiful in His essence, His names, His attributes, and His works. The more you know Him, the more beautiful faith becomes.

L

Al Lateef - The Most Gentle

He is gentle with you in ways you may never notice. He knows the smallest details of your life and cares for you through means you may not even recognise.

M

Al Majeed - The Majestic

His glory has no limit and His perfection has no end. The more you know Him, the more your heart finds reason to praise Him.

Al Maajid - The Noble

Every kingdom belongs to Him. Every possession, every position, every power is only entrusted for a time. Leave your affairs with the Owner of all things.

Mālik al-Mulk - The Master of the Kingdom

Kings rise and fall, kingdoms come and go, but His kingdom never ends. Place your trust in the One whose authority never fades.

Al Malik - The Ruler

He is the King of everything you can see and everything you cannot. Nothing escapes His authority, and nothing lies beyond His reach. Do not let the power of people make your heart afraid. Their authority is temporary; His is eternal.

Al Maani - The Preventer

He knows what should reach you and what should be kept away. He can withhold harm before it reaches you and prevent what would have wounded you. What feels like deprivation may be divine protection.

Al Mateen - The Firm

He is unshakable in His strength. When everything around you feels uncertain, hold onto the One who can never be shaken.

Al Mu'akhkhir - The Delayer

He is the One who delays what He wills according to His wisdom. Not every delay is a denial; sometimes it is preparation. Do not measure Allah’s care by how quickly your prayers are answered. His timing is not late.

Al Mubdi - The Originator

He is the One who begins creation. The One who created you from nothing can create a way forward when you see none.

Al Mudhil - The Dishonorer

He is the One who lowers whom He wills and raises whom He wills. Do not chase honour from people at the cost of your relationship with Allah. When the world makes you feel small, remember that people’s opinions do not determine your worth. Allah is the One who raises and lowers.

Al Mughni - The Fulfiller of Needs

He is the One who gives without becoming diminished. When you feel that something is missing, turn to the One whose treasures are limitless.

Al Muhaymin - The Protector

He is the One who watches over everything. Nothing about your life escapes His knowledge, and nothing you endure is unseen by Him. You are never outside His care. You are never outside His care.

Al Muhsi - The Counter

He is the One who leaves nothing unaccounted for. He is the One who knows every detail of your existence. You may feel unseen by the world, but you are never unseen by Him.

Al Muhyi - The Giver of Life

He is the One who gives life to every living thing. Remember that every breath you take is a gift from Him.

Al Mu'idh - The Restorer

He is the One who can restore what has been lost and return what has departed. What feels like an ending to you is never beyond His power to restore.

Al Mu'izz - The Honourer

He is the One who grants honor and raises whom He wills. Do not seek your worth in the approval of people; true honour comes from Him.

Al Mujeeb - The Responsive

He is the One who hears your supplication and responds in the way He knows is best. Trust His answer, even when it does not come in the form you expected.

Al Mu'min - The Giver of Tranquility

He is the One who brings peace and reassurance to hearts. When the world feels uncertain, remember the One who can give you peace no circumstance can take away.

Mumeet - The Creator of Death

He is the One who determines the end of every life. Every soul will return to Him, so let the certainty of returning shape the way you live.

Al Muntaqim - The Avenger

He is the One who takes retribution against those who persist in wrongdoing. Leave what you cannot avenge to the One who is perfectly just.

Al Muqaddim - The Expediter

He is the One who brings forward whom He wills and advances what He wills. Trust Him when your path moves faster or slower than you expected. Do not compare your journey with someone else’s, for Allah knows the right time for every step.

Al Muqeet - The Nourisher

He is the One who provides nourishment and sustenance for every living thing. Nothing survives except through what He provides. Trust that your sustenance is with Him, even when you cannot yet see where it will come from.

Al Muqsit - The Just

He is the One who gives every matter its rightful measure. When the world feels unfair, remember that nothing escapes the justice of Allah.

Al Muqtadir - The All-Powerful

He is the One whose power is absolute and limitless. What overwhelms you is never too great for Him.

Al Musawwir - The Fashioner

He is the One who gives every creation its form. Your appearance, your features, and every detail of creation are part of His perfect artistry. Do not despise what He created, for He fashioned you with knowledge.

Al Muta'ali - The Supremely Exalted

He is the One whose greatness transcends every limitation. Nothing resembles Him, and nothing can rival Him. When the world feels overwhelming, remember how far above it all your Lord is and glorify the One whose greatness has no equal.

Al Mutakabbir - The Perfect

He is the One who is supremely great and free from every imperfection. Before His greatness, every worldly status becomes insignificant. Let your heart be humble before the One who is greater than everything.

N

An Nafi - The Creator of Good

He is the One who knows what will benefit you, even when you do not. Trust what He gives and what He withholds.

An Noor - The Light

He is the One who illuminates the heavens and the earth and brings light to hearts. When you feel lost in darkness, turn towards His light.

Q

Al Qabid - The Withholder

He is the One who knows when to withhold and when to give. What He keeps from you is never without wisdom, even when you cannot yet understand it.

Al Qadeer - The Most Powerful

He is the One who is capable of all things. What seems impossible to you is never beyond His power. Never let the size of your problem make you forget the greatness of your Lord.

Al Qahhar - The Subduer

He is the One who has complete authority over every soul and every affair. Nothing can escape His authority, and no power can stand against His decree. Do not fear what appears mighty in this world; all creation remains beneath His command.

Al Qawiyy - The All-Strong

He is the One who is perfectly strong and never overcome. When life feels stronger than you, remember that nothing is stronger than Him.

Al Qayyum - The Sustainer

He is the One upon whom everything depends. When you feel like you cannot hold yourself together, place your trust in the One who holds everything together.

Al Quddus - The All-Pure

He is the One who is perfectly pure and free from every imperfection. Let knowing His perfection teach your heart to seek purity too.

R

Ar Rafi - The Exalter

He is the One who raises whom He wills. When you feel overlooked or forgotten, remember that your elevation is in His hands, not in the approval of people.

Ar Raheem - The Bestower of Mercy

He is the One who shows special mercy to His servants. Even when you feel unworthy, never believe that you are beyond His mercy. When you fall, return to Him; His mercy is greater than your mistakes.

Ar Rahman - The Entirely Merciful

He is the One whose mercy encompasses all creation. Look around you and you will find countless signs of His mercy.

Ar Raqeeb - The Ever-Watchful

He is the One who sees what is hidden and what is revealed. Every quiet struggle, every whispered prayer, and every unseen act of goodness is known to Him. When no one understands what you are going through, He knows every detail.

Ar Rasheed - The Guide

He is the One who guides to what is right and wise. When you do not know which way to turn, ask Him to guide your steps. Ask Him not only for the path you desire, but for the path that is truly best for you.

Ar Ra'uf - The Most Kind

He is the One who is extraordinarily gentle and compassionate towards His servants. Trust the kindness of the One who knows what your heart can bear.

Ar Razzaq - The Provider

He is the One who provides for every living creature. What is written for you will reach you, so do not let fear about provision consume your heart.

S

A'Sabur - The Most Patient

He is the One who patiently gives respite despite our shortcomings and He is the One who does not rush His decree in your affairs. So be patient with your own journey, keep striving, and never stop returning to Him.

A'Salaam - The Giver of Peace

He is the One who brings safety and peace to hearts. When everything around you feels uncertain, let your heart find refuge in Him.

A'Samad - The Satisfier of Needs

He is the One whom all creation needs, while He needs no one. When you feel that you have no one, remember that you have never been without Him.

A'Sami - The All Hearing

He is the One who hears every voice, from the loudest call to the quietest whisper. You never need to wonder whether your prayer reached Him.

A'Shahid - The Witness

He is the One who witnesses what is hidden and what is revealed. You do not need everyone to understand you when Allah knows the truth. What the world overlooks is never overlooked by Him.

A'Shakur - The Most Appreciative

He is the One who appreciates even the smallest act of goodness and rewards it abundantly. He is the One who recognises every sincere effort. What you do sincerely for His sake may seem small to you, but it is never small to Him.

T

A'Tawwab - The Acceptor of Repentance

He is the One who continually accepts the repentance of His servants. He is the One who welcomes you back when you turn to Him. So when you fall, let your next step be towards Him, not away from Him.

W

Al Wadud - The Most Loving

He is the One who loves His servants and is deserving of their deepest love. When you feel unworthy of love, remember the One whose love is beyond anything creation can offer.

Al Wahhab - The Bestower

He is the One who gives freely and abundantly, without needing anything in return. Every blessing you have is a gift from His generosity. Ask Him with hope, knowing that His treasures are not limited.

Al Wahid - The Only One

He is the One, without equal or partner. Do not give your heart completely to what is temporary when the One you need is everlasting.

Al Wajid - The Perceiver

He is the One who finds and knows all things. Nothing is lost from His knowledge, and nothing is beyond His reach. When you feel that something is missing from your life, remember the One who possesses everything.

Al Wakeel - The Trustee

He is the One who manages all affairs perfectly. You do not need to know how everything will work out when you know who is in control. Place your affairs in His hands and trust His wisdom.

Al Waali - The Supreme Authority

He is the One who governs every matter, seen and unseen. Your life is never outside His authority or His knowledge. When you feel powerless over your circumstances, remember who ultimately controls every affair.

Al Wali - The Protector

He is the One who protects and supports His believing servants. When you feel alone or vulnerable, remember that Allah is your Guardian.

Al Warith - The Eternal Inheritor

He is the One to whom everything ultimately returns. Invest in what will accompany you when everything else is gone.

Al Wasi - The All-Encompassing

He is the One whose bounty is vast and whose knowledge is complete. Never think that your need is too great for His provision or your sin too great for His mercy.

Z

A'Zahir - The Perceptible

He is the One who is above all things, and nothing is above Him. When the world feels overwhelming, remember the greatness of the One who is above it all.
